Deployments and enhancements to the CMS are always simple and elegant. CONTENIDO uses open source software products like MySQL database and the Apache web server. Open, well-known standards like PHP and HTML are favoured over proprietary components and obscure scripting languages. The modular structure allows you to enhance CONTENIDO with a broad range of additional functionalities like binding the user management to existing identity services such as OpenLDAP or Microsoft´s Active Directory. CONTENIDO’s modular layout offers containers for content and functional elements, which effortlessly combine to create new page templates. Properties can be assigned to these containers to obtain individual custom presentation formats.
